Yantra Fintech (India) Limited is a100% Export Oriented Company has developed an in-house technology for manufacture of Biodiesel. It has set up a plant for manufacture of biodiesel from multi feed stocks namely Crude Palm oil, Acid Oils, Waste vegetable oil, Used Cooking Oil etc., The plant was commissioned in 2008. The company has a sound R&D backing and has developed in house process technology for handling multi feed stocks for Biodiesel manufacturing. The company has also provided technical knowhow for setting up a 500000 tpa Biodiesel plant at SEZ Vizag.
Yantra is headquartered at south Indian city of Chennai. The facility is located at about 80 kms from Chennai at Chengalpattu District of Tamil Nadu, India. The company currently into manufacture of Biodiesel from multi feed stocks. Yantra has a production plant which was completely funded by the promoters.
The company was promoted by Dr. N.S.Venkatesh and Mr. N.S.Balamukundan having rich experience in setting up and operating Biodiesel facility. The company also has technology to extract carotenoids from Palm. The company has certification from ISCC & ICIM for supply of double counting material.
Dr.N.S.Venkatesh is a doctorate and the brain behind the development of the technology for conversion of all waste oils to biofuel. Mr. N.S.Balamukundan is a Chartered accountant and looks after the commercial side. He is also an advisory member of Biofuel Cell of MOPNG, Government of India and the PCD 3 BIS committee for BIS standards formulation
The production technology is developed in house and easily adopted to formulate Biodiesel from multi- feedstocks, thus ensuring continuous production throughout. In the domestic market the company supplies to Indian Railways and Oil Marketing Companies procure through their tenders periodically. The company is also a registered supplier to Indian Railways and Approved by FSSAI (Repurpose Used Cooking Oil – RUCO) for collection of Used Cooking Oil –UCO from FBO’s The plant can cater to domestic requirement to a limited extent and supplying to various manufacturing industries, star hotels, Oil Marketing Companies such as IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, Indian Railways, etc.
